Stephen serves as Director of Project Management for PGE with responsibility for engineering and field services project operations.
Stephen brings 30 plus years of experience in the energy and aerospace industries with functional experience in engineering, operations, programs, quality and manufacturing. He began his career at Lockheed Martin as a systems engineer for the U.S. Space Shuttle program and went on to hold technical and P&L management positions at several corporations including General Electric, First Solar, Honeywell, and Avaya. During that time, he has led engineering teams involved in design and commercial delivery, program management of large projects, and has a successful track record of building teams in matrix environments driving growth and efficiency.
Stephen received an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and completed his undergraduate studies in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Clarkson University. He published his thesis and co-authored several papers on advanced power generation, and has completed several business and technical corporate leadership development programs at the GE Crotonville School. Stephen is a licensed Professional Engineer, PMP and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified; he has received numerous industry and corporate awards including the NASA Turning Goals Into Reality (TIGR) Award and the NASA Andy Petro Team Award for Engineering Excellence.
Stephen enjoys sports and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Colleen, reside in the Lake Mary area, and have two adult children.
