Orlando Alancastro serves as the Vice President of Project Management Office for PGE. He is responsible for overseeing the project management, project controls, sub-contractor management and sales support efforts of large-scale projects and operations. Alancastro has over 18 years of experience in the utility industry, from engineering large capital projects and infrastructure planning, to operations management and leadership.
Prior to joining PGE, Alancastro served in various leadership roles in Engineering, Operations, Administration and Project Management at Orlando Utilities Commission. For many years, Alancastro has been engaged in the Central Florida community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, the CareerSource of Central Florida Board and the Regional Board for Prospera.
Alancastro was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Central Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Rollins College – Crummer Graduate School of Business.
