PGE taught the Line Protection Philosophies class and custom developed an End-to-End Testing class focused on why Satellite-based End-to-End testing is needed and how it works.

Line Protection Fundamentals & SECI Line 11 Explanation
– 6 hour course

PGE taught a custom class for Seminole Electric based upon the Line Protection Philosophies Class. PGE reviewed the P&C prints and settings provided by the client to teach a custom class on how the line protection on three line segments work.

Line Protection Fundamentals, Satellite End-to-End Testing
– 8 hour course

PGE taught East Kentucky Power Co-op the Line Protection Philosophies class and custom developed an End-to-End Testing class focused on why Satellite-based End-to-End testing is needed and how it works.

Distribution Protection & Control 
– 4 hour course

PGE taught a custom class to the field staff at the University of Florida focused on their specific methods of distribution protection and control. This class covered overcurrent curves, overcurrent coordination, hot line tagging procedures, automatic reclosing, cold load pickup and ABB DPU 2000R push button control options.

Progress Energy 2003-2006 Protection & Control Philosophies
